I have had the pleasure of working with Betty Faust as my transcriptionist for more than the past ten years.  To be succinct, she is reliable, rapid and produces a quality product.  In an era where there is voice recognition and EMR templates, I still find Betty’s services to be of great benefit to my Practice.

As an Internist and Geriatrician, my patient encounters tend to be detail-oriented and often complex.  In the time it would take me to input a note into an EMR system, I can dictate to Betty and see another patient.  With her services, I have consistently scored well when audited by my IPA insurance company and governmental agencies.  Having the appropriate documentation to support my level of coding is essential in the current healthcare environment.

Additionally, it is not unusual for Betty to actually correct what I have said with what she knows I am thinking.  I was commenting about a patient’s osteoporosis treatment and said one drug inadvertently and she had the knowledge and the insight to ask me whether this is what I actually meant.  Service such as this is indeed rare nowadays.

In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Betty in the role as a transcriptionist.  I think she provides extraordinary value to my practice and I have every intention of continuing to work with her in the future.
